We came to technology from venues, stages, classrooms and control rooms. We hire people with the same instinct: that the room has to work on the night, and every night after.

The work

Technical Alliance designs, integrates and supports audiovisual, ICT and venue technology across Western Australia. In one week our teams might be commissioning a school auditorium, programming a council chamber, building a rack at Osborne Park and tuning a room before doors. It is real work in real buildings, and you can point at what you did.

Who we hire

• Audiovisual technicians and installers - install, terminate, test and commission systems on site.
• Systems programmers - control and DSP platforms, including Q-SYS, Crestron and Biamp.
• Design and documentation - drawings, schedules and specifications a builder can price and a contractor can build.
• Project coordinators - programme, procurement and site logistics, keeping trades and clients in step.
• Service and support technicians - the people who answer when a venue needs its system back.
• Apprentices and entry-level crew - if you have run a school theatre, mixed a band or pulled apart a PA to see how it worked, tell us.

What we look for

Curiosity ahead of certificates. We will teach the platforms; we cannot teach the instinct to check the thing that looks fine. We work in occupied buildings around other trades, so care, communication and site discipline matter as much as technical skill. Relevant tickets - electrical licence, EWP, working at heights, construction induction - are useful, and we support people to gain them.

What you get

A small team where your work is visible and your name is on it. Training on platforms the industry actually uses, on projects that range from neighbourhood bars to state venues. Proper equipment, proper documentation and the expectation that you go home safely.

Current openings

We do not run a job board. Roles open as projects land, and the people we already know tend to hear first.
