The Lodge Wadjemup

On Wadjemup (Rottnest Island), the $40 million-plus redevelopment of the former Rottnest Lodge re-imagined one of the island’s most storied sites as The Lodge Wadjemup - more than one hundred rooms across heritage buildings, a dining yard, function spaces and a guest pool, with Stage One opening in December 2024 and the precinct named in TIME’s World’s Greatest Places 2025. Place Development managed the development for the operator.

Technical Alliance consulted on the audiovisual and ICT design for the complex - working through the realities of delivering hospitality-grade technology on an island - then integrated everything on site: guest and operational networks, audiovisual systems across dining, function and public spaces, and the infrastructure that keeps a remote resort running.

We supported the systems under an agreement with the operator and delivered further stages of work as the precinct grew.
