Roleystone Community College
Technical Alliance completed the supply, installation and commissioning of audiovisual systems for Roleystone Community College’s Sports Hall and Drama/Dance facilities.
The brief
The brief was clear and practical: design and deliver systems for everyday classroom use, yet flexible enough to support major assemblies, presentations, performing arts, sporting events and community use. The result is a set of multi-functional spaces that transition from daily school activities to full performance mode without unnecessary complexity.
Key features
- Integrated performance systems: high-performance audio, specialised theatrical lighting and large-format projection tailored to both sporting and performing arts environments.
- Intuitive AV control and DSP tuning: custom control programming paired with professional digital signal processor tuning for optimal acoustics, crisp audio clarity and effortless user operation.
- Streamlined input and wireless architecture: multi-channel wireless microphone systems alongside accessible HDMI and media playback inputs for plug-and-play functionality.
- Engineering and rack build: in-house rack build and pre-commissioning, clean cable termination and secure hardware installation designed for long-term reliability and minimal maintenance.
Two lives, one room
School facilities like these live two lives – teaching spaces by day, community venues by night – and the systems have to serve both without a technician on staff. The wider pattern is the one we describe in How do you get a school auditorium right?
