Piara Waters Senior High School

Piara Waters Senior High School’s Stage 2 expansion includes Block G: a theatre and dance studio for a fast-growing public school. Technical Alliance holds both sides of this job - theatre consultant on the documentation, and the specialist contractor delivering the works under head contractor PS Structures.

It is a rare and demanding position: the drawings and specification we consulted on are the same documents our own crews now build to. There is nowhere to hide between the design intent and the delivery - which is exactly why the job runs cleanly.

The scope

Audiovisual, stage lighting, theatre equipment and drapery across the theatre and dance studio - lighting bars, curtain tracks and the systems behind them - delivered in stages, coordinated with the electrical and ceilings trades, on a live school campus.

On site now

The works are staged through 2026 and approaching completion, with final commissioning, training and handover documentation to close the project out the way school venues should be closed out. Alongside Mater Dei College and Como Secondary College, it is one of three current theatre-consulting engagements on our desk.
