Kinetic Ceiling

Some ceilings hold lights. This one performs. For Magnet House, Technical Alliance engineered a kinetic ceiling of 54 floating triangles flown on 162 individually controlled hoists - a rig that transforms the room in front of the audience, driven from the venue’s lighting control like any other fixture.

Kinetic features are custom solutions at full stretch: motors, rigging, control and safety engineering designed together by our team, proven in pre-commissioning, then tuned on site until movement, light and music agree. Shape, speed, travel and choreography are tailored to the venue that commissions them.

When the right part does not exist, we design it ourselves and prove it in pre-commissioning before it ships.
