Aurecon

When global engineering consultancy Aurecon rebuilt its Perth workplace - three floors and 3,000 square metres on Hay Street, designed by Woods Bagot, built with Renascent and completed in 2024 - the technology had to meet the same standard as the architecture.

The workplace

Technical Alliance integrated and commissioned the audiovisual systems across the workplace: meeting and collaboration spaces, focus and social settings, and the shared infrastructure behind them. Engineers are exacting clients - the systems had to be as considered as the spaces they serve, and commissioning meant proving every room, not just powering it on.

Technology that disappears

The result is a workplace where the technology disappears into the design - there the moment a meeting starts, invisible when it isn’t needed.
