Upon completion, the studio complex will boast 8,200 square metres of interior production space, encompassing production offices, an art department, wardrobe facilities, workshops, set storage, and ample parking. Additionally, the 23,200 square metre backlot will provide expansive outdoor filming opportunities, larger than the playing field at Optus Stadium.

Economic Impact and Job Creation

Funded by a $233.5 million investment from the Western Australian Government, Perth Film Studios is not just a landmark project but also a significant economic driver. The construction phase alone has created 600 direct and indirect jobs, with one-fifth of the workforce comprising apprentices and trainees, including a notable number of Indigenous employees. Once operational, the studios will continue to generate employment opportunities, supporting hundreds of jobs within the local film and television industry.
